Description
Q: “Why did the artist cross the road?”
A: “To see what was on the other side”
What else could the answer be? I suppose it could be “To look at where the artist was and see how it looks from that side.”
I have always been curious, and perhaps that’s why I like to travel. Too see things I have not seen before. And as I travel, I am always drawn to the places close that I cannot quite get to. Be it a creek, river, ocean, lake, mountain, etc. always wondering what is over “there” and what does it look like from there looking back to where I am.
Case in point. This is Ear Bob Recreation Area located in the eastern Oklahoma portion of the Ozark Mountains along the Neosho River. I am looking across the cove (inlet or whatever) and wondering what is over there. What would it look like to be there and look back across?
Since the terrain here is not the easiest to travel, lots of woods, hills, ravines, etc., I’m not sure I’ll ever know. But I will always be curious.
