Artist's Description

The moon rises above the Totem Pole, a rock formation found in Monument Valley, Arizona. It appears the moon is dotting the stone pillar to form a natural small letter i. It is evening, and as the sun sets, it gives spectacular light to the rock. Monument Valley is located in the Navajo Reservation, and special thanks goes out to our guide Ray who knew where to go and when to go there.

And I've always had an appreciation for art, as my mother is an accomplished painter. Merging the two, what you see are the results. Digital work that looks (hopefully!) like a traditional painting.
